📊 AI Chips Surge, Expensify +30%

Domo’s strategic move, big IPOs and muted Fed talk could flip momentum

Good Morning Investors,

The NASDAQ Biotechnology Index finished essentially flat, showing that the market’s appetite remains concentrated rather than broad based. Energy and utilities face a more complicated backdrop as geopolitical developments, oil market shifts, and rising cost pressures create uneven conditions across commodity linked and regulated businesses.

This leaves investors in a familiar environment: strong upside in AI and semiconductor related names, but less support for the broader universe. The main risk is that leadership remains narrow. If the technology trade cools or if Fed messaging and credit conditions worsen, smaller growth names could quickly lose momentum.
