📊 Getty‐OpenAI Sparks Rally

Biotech & AI names lead; Getty surge, Cognition patent, CRVO ATM raise

Good Morning Investors,

AI remains one of the clearest structural themes underneath the market. Renewed interest in the space, combined with large private capital raises and continued demand for AI services and semiconductor supply chains, is helping support selective tech exposure even as the broader NASDAQ weakens. Money is still finding its way into AI linked niches rather than abandoning growth altogether.

Energy is the less straightforward piece of the puzzle. The sector outperformed today, but oil’s retreat amid U.S.–Iran talks could cap upside if crude continues to soften. That creates a more tactical setup for energy small caps, especially after recent commodity-driven strength.

The takeaway is that breadth improved in pockets, but leadership remains selective rather than broad based. Biotech, semiconductors, and AI linked services are still attracting capital, though the backdrop can shift quickly if inflation surprises higher or oil volatility returns.
