Mining & commodity surge drives winners (NXXT, AMTX); TIGR volatility and W&T Offshore on our watchlist.

In partnership with

Good Morning Investors,

Heightened U.S. Iran tensions are increasing inflation and volatility concerns, supporting commodity linked sectors but also raising broader macro risk. Expanding AI adoption and growing retail technology usage continue creating tailwinds for selective software, infrastructure, and automation companies.

Technology participation was constructive but narrower than the move in resources. The S&P 500 Information Technology sector added 0.5%, suggesting investors remain willing to hold AI related exposure, though flows continue favoring more cyclical and commodity sensitive areas of the market in the near term.

The tone remains constructive, particularly in mining, energy, and selective AI linked technology names. Geopolitical inflation pressures and tighter liquidity conditions continue to support a more selective, risk aware approach rather than broad speculative positioning.
